Funerals

Losing a loved one is one of the most devastating blows in life, however a funeral which is warm and loving undoubtedly helps make our goodbyes much less painful and gives us the chance to begin moving on.

I will spend time with you, your family and your friends to allow me to get to know the deceased. You can tell me about them as an individual, their relationships, their history.

As an independent celebrant I can include as much – or as little – religious or spiritual content as you wish. If necessary, I can advise you about readings, poetry, songs and music to accompany the service.

Once we have gathered the details of your beloved’s life, I will craft a unique and beautiful eulogy. Before the funeral I will allow you to read and/or hear the eulogy in order that any changes or additions can be made. I want you to be completely happy with everything which is said.

On the day of the funeral, I will of course present the eulogy, but I will also liaise with your funeral director to ensure everything runs smoothly. I want you to be satisfied that the life of your loved one has indeed been truly celebrated.
